About This Horse

Warrior is a 16+ hands bay thoroughbred. He is very sweet, loves attention, and has very good ground manners. He always comes to the gate and is easy to catch. He has been ridden both English and Western. He has basic dressage and jumping skills. He knows right vs left lead, side steps and is comfortable jumping small jumps (1-2 ft). However, he is hesitant to jump unless he has seen the obstacle before. He will jump without hesitation when following another horse. He has mainly been ridden on the trail and has fox hunted in first field a few times. He has also recently participated in an eventing clinic and did great jumping in the arena and through water, but he had to look at the cross country jumps before going over. He ties, loads, and stands for the farrier without a problem. Warrior is sound and without shoes, but needs hoof boots when riding on hard surfaces. In general he is a very good boy, however, he does have the tendency to spook on occasion and can get a bit excited when cantering in the open or riding with large groups. He is the perfect gentleman when riding in the arena. Warrior needs a sensitive and experienced rider. I have included a link to his pedigree below.
